Rather than webbing, NEMO uses slim cordage blending HTP and Dyneema fibres, materials borrowed from rock climbing and sailing where strength and water resistance are non-negotiable. That cord feeds through a belay-device-inspired piece of hardware that's smooth to operate and barely noticeable on the chair. The aluminium hubs and corner mounts have been skeletonised, meaning material has been removed precisely where it isn't needed, a process that reflects serious engineering rigour rather than simple weight cutting. The result is a frame that feels solid and reliable despite its minimal profile.

The seat is a custom post-consumer recycled mesh blending polyester and TPU fibres, shaped to cradle the body without seams that create pressure points. Minimised ball-and-socket connectors let the seat rotate and align naturally with your posture.
