These exquisite pieces of artwork are perfect for any space. Each Buffon No.11 Glacier frame is individually dipped using the ancient art of hand marbling making every one completely unique. The Giclée reprint is from our large collection of original prints from ‘Buffon’s Complete Works’. Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon was one of the most noted and celebrated naturalists of his time. Each of the original 1816 illustrations was printed and then hand painted in water colour in Spitalfields, London. Each quirky animal or insect is full of character and wonderful detail.

The Buffon collection is firstly reprinted on acid free bamboo paper in England. They are then mounted in unique hand marbled frames. These are also crafted in England from British pine and marbled in Lincolnshire.
